The St. Francis-St. James United School Advisory Committee is the most important Governing Committee of the school. Some of their responsibilities include: assist the Principal in planning/evaluating programs, overseeing and planning budgets, determining tuition and fees, marketing and teacher salaries. Another critical task is reviewing and writing all school policies. (Please see the Parent-Student Handbook for all school policies.)
The School Advisory Committee has been instrumental in the School Accreditation process by helping create the school's Long Range Plan of Improvement.
Meetings are held the second Wednesday of the month at 6:00 in the school faculty room. These are open meetings and parents are welcome to attend.
Current members are: Paul Kulhanek, Deb Baker, Katy Knable-Cox, Jamine Ewine, Gary Kopp, Nancy Buehler, Marie Heitzinger, Jean Murtough, Mary Gargaro. Father Miguel and Gail Rappé are non-voting members.
