Students in grades K through 8 get a broad introduction to the fundamentals of music. They listen to and discuss a wide variety of musical styles from different eras. Singing skills, music history, note reading, and basics of music theory are taught while learning children’s rhymes, seasonal songs, and music for mass. The children also play recorders and other musical instruments. Many students perform in a Christmas concert and/or Spring musical.
