Our third and fourth grade combination offers some good opportunities for both ages. Students in grade three benefit from the fourth graders experience and knowledge. The fourth graders have the chance to expand and practice their skills while helping others.
Science, social, religion and some language skills are taught as a whole group. Math and reading are taught by grade level and individualized. Differentiated learning methods help all students reach their maximum potential. Plus it’s a lot of fun having more friends!
Some areas of study include:
Continued development of reading and language skills
Math facts and concepts of fractions and decimals
The geography and history of the United States
The life sciences, including the study of plants and animals
Along with the core curriculum, students learn the values and history of the Catholic Faith, as well as the visual arts and physical education.
