Jean Olson

Hello from Jean Olson. I am originally from Duluth, MN and earned my degree in Classroom Music with a Choral Emphasis.  I married Greg Olson who went to St. Mark's and St. Thomas Academy and we live in St. Paul.  We have 2 daughters who are Hope (10) and Ashley (8). 

My musical interests took me on a year of travel in the group called Up With People.  We spent 5 months in Europe and 7 months in the U.S. and Canada.

I continued to discover and enjoy many parts of our world and music as a flight attendant and trainer for a few years and was a substitute teacher with a number of schools.

I am one of the cantorers at Nativity of Our Lord Church in St. Paul and sing in their adult choir.  For the past 2 years I worked at Nativity with their Elementary School and Middle School Choirs. 

My interests are lead by music and I also enjoy gardening, cooking, walking and time with family and friends. 

I look forward to making music with the students at SFSJUS during their music classes and encourage them to sign up to sing with the school choir.
