DeeDee Amble

Our upper grade math specialist, Mrs. Amble has been with us since the turn of the century (grin) and in addition to her education degree spent 14 years teaching children with learning disabilities primarily in the area of Math instruction. Also a St. Paul native she attended neighborhood Catholic schools including Cretin-Derham Hall. Her sister Linda is our school secretary, husband Peter our Phy Ed teacher and coach, and both Amble children are/were SFSJUS students.

Working in partnership with Mr. Pisano on the implementation of our advanced academic programs, Mrs. Amble has continued to help our students excel in Math here and in their high schools. She is the Advisor to our Student Council and helps Confirmation students prepare for the Sacrament.

Mrs. Rappé comments: “An astoundingly gifted teacher, the improvements in math scores under her leadership are one of SFSJUS major accomplishments. Mrs. Amble and her family, by their example, embody the core spirit of SFSJUS.”
