Kathy Clark

The 2008-09 school year is Ms. Clark’s 33rd year at SFSJUS. Ms. Clark was even baptized at St. Francis and raised in the neighborhood along with five siblings. She holds a Masters degree in education from the University of Minnesota.

In 2006 Ms. Clark was awarded the Distinguished Teacher Award by the National Catholic Education Association and works with local newspapers as a contributing reporter, furthering her love for reading and writing, skills she passes on to her students too. She has also served on MNSAA school accreditation teams, has attended many workshops, supervises Chess and Book Club for our students and coordinates our local PR in the community.

Mrs. Rappé says: "Ms. Clark is a sterling example of what SFSJUS stands for. A lifetime of excellence and dedication to the children, Ms. Clark instills a love of reading and writing, is incredibly prepared, and knows her subjects inside and out. As children progress from the primary grades to middle school, they must mature as students and Ms. Clark is perfect at delivering the educational experience needed in these transition years."
