Serving children 20 months to 33 months.

We are licensed to serve 40 toddlers between ages 20 months to 33 months. Toddlers are given the guidance needed to develop social/emotional skills and creative expression as well as sensory stimulation, language development, small and large muscle skills, and increasing cognitive skills. The toddler groups are developmentally diverse. Staff members recognize and encourage differences while providing opportunities for the toddlers to enhance his/her developmental progress. Goals are constantly reassessed in terms of the current needs of each child. The staff works with parents on setting goals for each child based on the child's particular situation.

We provide breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack for all toddlers.

Parents are provided with daily communication and a monthly newsletter which includes a monthly calendar.

Sandcastle offers the following enrichment programs to the children:

"Growing With Music" is a developmental music program for toddlers and preschoolers. Each week the children are guided through 30 minutes of musical activities to emphasize overall development while exposing them to important music concepts. This program is offered at an additional cost of $4.00 per week.

"Dancercise Kids" is a theme related exercise program that is offered to toddlers weekly.  This program teaches themes and concepts, while also engaging the children in dance and exercise.  This is also offered at an additional cost that is paid directly to Dancercise corporate offices.

The Toddler Program currently has 2 classrooms and they use the Creative Curriculum
