At least one of the couple wishing to celebrate their wedding here must be an active registered member of the parish or have a family history at our parish (St. Francis de Sales or St. James) and be active at the parish where he or she currently lives. Couples must participate in an authorized pre-marriage seminar and complete the FOCCUS inventory and review (FOCCUS stands for Facilitating Open Couple Communication Understanding, and Study). For those who speak English, the inventory and review should be done under the direction of Fr. Miguel Betancourt. Contact the parish office at least 3 months prior to the desired wedding date to begin the program of marriage preparation.
